Autonomous mobility firm Zoox appoints Carl Bass as independent director

Zoox, the California-based robotics company focused on autonomous mobility, has announced the appointment of former Autodesk CEO Carl Bass as an independent director.

Bass has served as an advisor to Zoox since 2016, and left his Autodesk role earlier this year after 24 years with the firm.

“Carl gets Zoox implicitly,” said Tim Kentley-Klay, Zoox cofounder, CEO, and co-Chairman of the Board. “We are thrilled to have him join our Board of Directors, where his deep business experience will add material value as we realize our mission to bring autonomous mobility to the world.”

“Zoox has taken a unique approach to creating autonomous vehicles,” said Bass. “I'm very excited to join the Board of Directors and help this genuinely creative company grow as it innovates.”
