Autonomous Vehicle Hardware Summit

Event details

The Autonomous Vehicle Hardware Summit is the first and only conference focusing solely on architectural and engineering challenges for silicon, sensors and systems in autonomous vehicles.

The automotive electronics industry will grow to $280 billion by 2020, and will likely look very different, as new entrants such as NVIDIA enter the space with new autonomous driving solutions and advanced-node AI accelerators. Many new entrants have little to no experience of the automotive industry’s stringent functional safety requirements, while testing and simulation methodologies for semiconductor products are meeting with skepticism from auto OEMs and their suppliers.

To control the automated driving value chain a knowledge of hardware is crucial – the hardware architectures of Level 3, 4 & 5 AVs, often termed ‘super computers on wheels’, will be fundamental to the ultimate effectiveness and cost of the vehicle, and the overall quality of the user experience.

The AV Hardware Summit will bring together 150+ tech and auto leaders to help overcome these challenges and pave the way for the next generation of driverless cars.
